Learning the Basics (Food)

This post is all about learning the basics about our food, because it is the first step in this direction I have made it very simple (keeping in mind my post on simple& real), no complicated terms. As I/we progress I will keep adding more details

Carbohydrates

Fats

Michelle actually got me interested in all this (especially the good fat part) I found it extremely useful :)  Hope you all found it useful too. Next time more details.

  3. Agree with everyone that your newest photo is gorgeous. :D

I'm still tweaking my own food plan. Some people have suggested that I eat too much fruit, but when I eat less fruit, I tend to want to eat sugary snacks--and fruit is definitely the better choice. So I'm working on that issue. However, people assume I have so much willpower. Really, I don't. I still need sweets--even if it's fruit.

    1. Thank you for the compliment on the photo :), Fruit was something Michelle had asked me to reduce too...I have still not completely taken it out of my diet but I have started reducing my intake so these days I split my frozen banana and buy more berries. I think you really do have an amazing will power each time I read you weekly 10 pound weightloss update post I always end up appreciating your determination and getting inspired to check my intake

  5. I love that new pic of you!! I think I have a dress that's almost identical - you didn't get it at GAP by any chance did you? ;)

These charts are great. It's nice to have things laid out for you; it makes it less easy to make wrong choices too!
