Happy New Year and Quick catch up

December 2014 had a lot of both work and fun, for the first two weeks I was very busy at work then I was on leave so everything balanced out. I had planned not to touch my laptop during my break because otherwise I get pulled into doing things and not relaxing. The entire month of December was about family and friends. We celebrated a quiet Christmas at home but before and after Christmas I have been surrounded by friends.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary so we took a short trip to York, which was beautiful. December was all about things that make me very happy. I was surrounded by lots of happiness, lots of wonderful people and lots of love
On the workout and eating front I have been good. Though I did injure myself once and I had to change my workouts after that but I have managed to workout 4 – 5 days a week as planned. Not all workouts were gym based some were floor based and in my hotel room. Food wise I managed to stick to my usual party rules (read here). I haven’t gained any weight which is good

For the New Year I have new goals all of them focus on one thing – Improvement. There are some aspects of my life that need big improvements (like my blog, I know I need to become regular and I promise I will) and some aspects of my life that need constant improvement (like my fitness). So this year is all about getting out of my comfort zone and consciously working towards improving and becoming the person I want to be.
This is what I was up to. How was your December? Have you decided your 2015 goals?

  1. So good to hear December was a good month for you - it sounds like you got the balance right.

All best wishes for 2015. My New Year Resolution is to have at least one more walk each week .... nothing major but attainable and something I enjoy.

    All the best Jan

  2. Happy new year. Happy Anniversary wishes again. That good to stay away from social network some times and just enjoy. We had mandatory hoildays from dec 25 th till jan 5th but could not go anywhere as not used to cold. Enjoyed netherlands new year eve and the dam which is most happening place. It was crazy with so much crowd and too cold. No specific new year resolutions except to stay fit and lose weight and less on social netwroking web sites....
